Hey guys I have just come back from camp rumbug and it was a lot of fun. There was heaps of activities to do but these are some of my favorites:
.Giant Swing (Scare Bear)
.Canoeing
.Abseiling
.Archery
.nitro crossing
.mud run
I was in a cabin with Adam, Conner, Ben, Will, James and Jacob. It was really fun. We played tag on the beds and we jumped on our beds. On the last night everyone went on a night walk and we had to find bunyips in the trees.

The signs had letters on them with glowing eyes. We had letters to unscramble. The message was ‘REAL OR FAKE.’ After that we roasted marshmallows on the fire pit and went to emu flats to find quartz so we could make it spark. The next day we went home and I recommend you go.

We also went to the Australia Zoo and saw lots of animals like Rhinos,Wombats, Zebras ,Crocs and Tigers. The next day we went to the beach and had a swim and did some bush walking. We saw a bush turkey and some other birds. When we came home I played footy with my brother It was a great holiday!

How Do Hot Air Balloons Work

1

Posted by travisy | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on August 19, 2014

Have you ever seen a hot air balloon in the sky? and you must wonder how a such a big thing can go so high in the air

Did you know air actually weighs something because of the molecules in the air.Hot air weighs less then cold air because the molecules are faster and further apart so the balloon rises higher. The procaine in the burner burns to go higher and there’s a hatch to let hot air out to go lower. There are weights on the basket to keep the balloon from floating away.

Hot air ballooning is lots of fun if you know how to work it

I liked this term the most so far because we got to do sport, art ,health Expo, Cross Country, Inter School Sports, Class Party , learning about the brain and poetry lessons. In the health expo I did An eye and I learnt about all the different parts of the eye like sclera (the white bit) and iris (the colour of the eye. In cross country I came 66 and when I learnt about the brains I found out it was in the nervous system and that spinal cord was the central nervous system

Lucy is a  11 year old girl  from Kenya who has polio which means she can’t straighten her right leg so she can’t walk to school. She’s  just one of the people who has a disability and can’t go to school. even if she gets to school she might not get the support she needs . All Lucy’s 8 brothers have gone to school but she can’t get to school. 24 million children in the world have disability and 57 million children don’t have an education so that means nearly half of children who can’t go to school this year. We want all kids to go to school
